Although the Italian coach admitted that. He did not want to lose any players in the winter transfer window and was happy with Dewsbury-Hall’s performance. He had to wait and talk with the players before deciding what to do.

“I can’t say that, not about Kiernan, but about the whole team. Because when the transfer window opens anything can happen.” Maresca told Football.com.

“So I don’t care about January. The only thing I can say about Kiernan is that we are very happy with his performance. We are very happy with his performance and that’s my opinion of Kiernan.”

“We don’t want any of our players to leave the team. The problem is sometimes the question is more about them, if they say, ‘Okay, you don’t want me to go. But I’m not happy, I want to play more’.”

“So in this case we are not saying ‘no, you have to stay’. It’s an agreement between the club and the player. The only thing I can say is we are happy with Kiernan and then we will see.”
